Can I Exchange My Ordered Items?

If you place an order and change your mind before it ships, we can print a different item free of charge.
If you receive an item and would like a different color or pattern please let us know. A shipping fee may apply.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No you can checkout on the site as a Guest. However, making an account at checkout allows you to check the status of your order, as well as, keep track of sizes and designs from your order history for future orders!

Can I Return My Order?

If you choose to return an item and would like a full refund, you have 30 days to contact us to receive a Return Authorization #. WE WILL NOT REFUND items that are shipped without a Return Authorization #.

Are There Fees For Returns?

If you return an item or items that are not packaged in exactly the same manner as they arrived then a refund will not be issued.
Please insure all returned packages with your chosen delivery service as returned items damaged in transit are the responsibility of the customer.
For any returned orders of $200 or more we charge a 30% restocking fee, no exceptions.

Information

How easy are the films to apply?

Very easy! All you need is a tape measure, some sharp scissors and a clean flat surface. Cut the film to size, then peel off the backing paper. Spray water on the film to activate the adhesive and position the film as needed on the window while the film is wet. Step-by-step instructions are provided with each roll.

Can I see out and what can you see from the outside?

The film allows light in but blocks the view to the outside, giving the appearance of frosted glass. When looking into a film covered window from the outside at night, diffused shapes can be seen. During the day nothing inside can be seen.

Available sizes?

We offer 36″ x 48″ and 48″ x 84″ sheet sizes, as well as any custom length by up to 48″ wide.

What Patterns are Available?

We have an array of modern designs suitable for today’s interiors. Our patterns are ‘all over’ so you can use them horizontally or vertically to get the most area coverage. If you need a design with a vertical orientation, such as Little City or Willow, printed with a horizontal orientation please just let us know and we can take care of this for you.

How durable is the film?

It has a minimum of 3 years durability.

What kind of windows are they suitable for?

All clean, smooth windows. Other uses include mirrors, glass table tops, French doors, and sliding doors. We think it’s a particularly great alternative to expensive frosted glass shower doors.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes, using a damp cloth. Please avoid any abrasive cleaning liquids or materials.

Is the film waterproof?

All of our window films are waterproof, making them ideal for use in bathrooms. You may use them in and around showers, tubs, and backsplashes. It works great in bathroom windows AND on shower doors.

Are the films easy to remove?

Yes. Normally the film can be peeled away after separating a corner from the glass. A blow dryer can be used to warm the film and loosen the adhesive if necessary. When removed it will not damage the glass or leave any residue. The pvc-free cling and clear films are reusable.

Is there an eco friendly option?

We are pleased to offer a pvc-free silicone film that provides the same privacy coverage as our original adhesive film.

Information

What size are the tile decals

We carry 2 sizes of decals: 4″ and 6″. The 4″ decals cover the industry standard 4″ tiles, which measure 4.25″. We can also print any size square and subway size!

Are the decals waterproof?

Yes, the Tile Tattoos are water, heat, and steam proof approximately 36 hours after installation. However, we do not recommend applying Tile Tattoos in the bottom of a bathtub or sink, as they should not be soaked underwater or walked on

Will decals cover the color & decoration on my existing tile?

The designs printed on white decals will completely cover your tile, allowing you to hide an unwanted existing design, color, or hairline crack. The translucent backings will allow the tile to show through, creating the effect of a seamless surface design on your tile.

How do I know what color is best for my décor?

We suggest choosing a complementary or contrasting color to add to your existing décor, rather than attempting an exact color match. The black or white designs on translucent backing are especially useful in almost any setting. Even mid-century pastel tiles are easily modernized by a touch of black or white surface design.

Can I customize the size, color, or design?

All of our designs can be customized to cover any tile size. To order a custom size, you will select ‘Customize up to 12″‘ from your product options. You may write the dimensions for us in the ‘Notes’ section of your shopping cart. We can also color match or print your artwork onto our decals. How do I clean the decals?

Once they’re applied, they may be cleaned with non-abrasive soap and water. To preserve the design, do not use harsh or abrasive chemicals or a scrub brush.

Are the tile decals reusable?

Tile decals are single use only. They are easily removable but not reusable.

How many tile decals come in a set?

All Tile Tattoos are priced as sets of 10.

Where can I use the tile decals?

Use them in a kitchen or bathroom or anywhere as an alternative to replacing tiles. Hide tired, dull, discolored, or outdated tiles, or help camouflage lightly cracked tiles. Tile Tattoos are not recommended for use on heavily cracked or broken tiles or on floor tile where anyone walks. For decorative purposes only they can be used on perimeter floor tiles that are not subject to foot traffic as the material is not slip-proof and the decals can not be cleaned with any scrubbing agent or heavy-duty floor cleaner.

What do you suggest for decorating with tile decals?

Create a bold geometric look by placing them diagonally or in a checkerboard pattern. Place them together in sets of 2’s, 3’s, or 4’s in horizontal or vertical rows to give little bursts of visual interest. Scatter them at random for a fun unstructured look. A few decals go a long way in decorating!

What do I need for the application?

Spray cleaner for tiles pre-application, water to dampen tile and tile decal, a squeegee or credit card, and a cloth to wipe away excess water.

How do you apply tile decals?

Clean the tiles and wipe them thoroughly to ensure all cleaning agents are removed. Allow them to dry. Lightly spray the tiles with water. Peel off the paper backing and spritz the sticky side of the decal. Use a squeegee or credit card to smooth out the sticker and remove excess water with a clean dry cloth. Avoid direct water contact for 24 hours and allow 72 hours for drying.

How do I remove the tile decals?

Tile decals are designed to stick to a tile surface as long as you need them to, but if your design tastes change, simply peel back a corner of a sticker and remove the decal.
